How it works with Twilio
When a user clicks one of your ads, a unique identifier such as fbclid, gclid, msclkid, ttclid or li_fat_id is attached to the visit. WAct securely captures the click ID and any utm_* parameters as soon as the user lands on your site.
If the same user opens WhatsApp through your Twilio link, WAct subscribes to the Twilio webhook server-side, reads the conversation start, and matches it to the original click using the stored parameters and session signals.
Once matched, the conversion event is automatically uploaded back to your ad account through the relevant API. No manual imports. No spreadsheets. No Pixel changes on your WhatsApp button.
